Diane Gottsman, a nationally recognized etiquette expert, is the founder and director of The Protocol School of Texas, a company specializing in etiquette training for corporations, universities and individuals.  She travels extensively to train corporations that have a desire to improve the image and protocol skills of their front line teams.

According to research done by Harvard University, The Carnegie Foundation, and The Stanford Research Institute, technical skills and knowledge represent less than 15 percent of one’s value in obtaining a job, keeping a job, or advancing in a job.  More than 85 percent of job success is based on personal conduct and the ability to put others at ease.

Formerly a professional fundraiser, Diane saw an overlooked corporate need for expert etiquette advice on how to handle certain situations.  The training that Diane furnishes effectively increases her clients’ leadership potential, thus providing them with a competitive edge.  This coaching proves valuable, both short-term and long-term, because people judge us by what they see and hear.  First impressions are lasting impressions and you only have one chance to make a first impression.

Diane has been published and quoted locally, regionally and nationally, in addition to being featured on the BBC Radio.  More recently, Diane has published a book titled Pearls of Polish, an etiquette guide for today’s busy woman.  Pearls of Polish has become a favorite among corporations for use as incentives and training materials for their staff.
